Posting Guidelines - fzs - 05-09-2018

Please ensure you have read the Forum General Rules before reading this post.

Below are some of the guidelines you must following while posting content. Any posts found in violation of these guidelines will be deleted.

1. Detailed Posts:
When you post a question or are requesting for help, please do not post one liners asking how do I do X. You must describe what you are trying to do, what you have already tried and what is the outcome you are expecting. Detail your query as much as possible. Community members here love challenges, not free job training, so it's very important that you mention everything you have already attempted to solve the issue. If you have a code related question, post the code that you are having problem with. If you have larger code snippets that cannot be posted within the post, make use of free services like pastebin and refer the link to it in your post.

For more larger holistic questions, please be aware that other community members are not aware of what environment you currently have or what the configuration of your environment is, so do not post open ended questions without clearly describing the current scenario as it is unfair to expect other users to keep on quizzing and probing you and will not lead to any fruitful discussion.

2. No double posting/thread bumping:
Do not double post on the same threads and do not bump your existing threads to bring it up the order or to ask others to reply to it. If you have any additional information to add, you can edit your first post.

3. Avoid large resolution images:
Not everyone has a fast internet connection, so please avoid posting images larger than 1920x1080(1080p).

4. Use search before posting:
It is very likely that a question similar to yours has already been posted before, so please use the search function to find similar topics and you could post your questions under those threads.

These guideline will get updated as the forum grows, so please check them once in a while to ensure you stay updated!
